The E series is a popular full-size van produced by Ford in the United States, known as the Econoline or Club Wagon. The first model appeared in 1961. Mainly used for commercial purposes, it has gained stable popularity. The 1977 model is a third-generation model that was fully remodeled in 1975. The main feature of the third generation vehicle was the adoption of a body-on-frame structure. This structure was applied not only to the Econoline, but also to ambulances, various types of trucks and buses, and became the basis of the new generation of vehicles. The engine mounting position adopts the same front layout as the second generation. This gave the drivetrain the same mechanics as the F-series trucks. Only 3-door van body is available. The engine has a lineup of inline 6 cylinders and V type 8 cylinders with various displacements from 3.9 liters to 7.5 liters. The full-size capacity and heavy-duty chassis have gained popularity as a custom base for a wide range of car fans.
