Shipping & Local Pickup
What shipping options do we offer?
Our main carriers are UPS and Canada Post (If you are shipping to the United States and select Canada Post, the package will be converted to the equivilant USPS service at the border). Both of these carriers offer many different options for your order depending on it's size, weight, destination, and how fast you would like to get it. Express options are available as well during checkout.
How Much is Shipping?
Our shipping fees are taken directly from our couriers live when you checkout your cart, and the amount includes the shipping itself, as well as packaging materials and labor. It can be expensive depending on your location. Please use the shopping cart to determine the shipping charges to your location by adding all desired items and entering your full mailing address during the checkout phase. You do not need to provide payment information unless you decide to actually place the order.
What is the order lead-time?
We strive to have all in-stock orders shipped out within 24 hours of the order being placed by the customer. This of course does not include weekends and holidays. Though we are generally able to ship out all orders placed on weekends/holidays on the next business day. If there are any exceptions with your order we will contact you as quickly as possible to resolve them and have your items ship out quickly.
Do you deliver to Post Office Boxes?
Yes we do, but UPS does not, so please select a Canada Post option if you are providing a PO Box at checkout.
The 'FREE Local Pickup' Option
If your shipping address is in Ontario, Canada, this option will be available on checkout. You may then pickup your order from our Ottawa location when we email you that it is ready. If you live in a different province and would still like to pickup your order from our Ottawa location, please set your shipping address as our address and the option for pickup will appear: Toys on Fire Ottawa, 3-130 RioCan Ave, Ottawa, Ontario, K2J 5G4
