Return Policy for Shipping Orders Placed on ToysOnFire.ca
At Toys on Fire, we realize how difficult it is to order merchandise on-line, especially for first time buyers. Without actually seeing the goods in front of you, you're never really sure if you're buying exactly what you want. That's why we offer our customers guaranteed satisfaction. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it. Please read the terms of returns below before sending us your return.
1) If there is a problem with the shipment, we must be notified within the first five days from when you received your order.
2) The product must still be in FACTORY SEALED CONDITION. If the toy has been opened, played with and then broken, we will not accept it back. WE DO NOT ACCEPT merchandise that has been opened. Under certain circumstances, we reserve the right to deduct up to 50% from your refund if the packaging has been damaged. Refunds are usually issued within 1 week after receiving the item back.
3) We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). When shipping back the incorrect item to us, please pack your returns securely. Your credit card will be refunded for the shipping fees or store credit will be issued to you.
4) If the return was not due to our error, but rather the buyer's (ie. you ordered it and then decided later on that you don't want it), the buyer accepts full responsibility for all shipping costs plus a 15% re-stocking fee will be deducted from your refund. If the item's factory seal was broken, we cannot accept the item back.
5) If you returned only one item from a multi-item shipment, you will be reimbursed only for the per-item shipping fee for the item you returned and not the per-shipment fee.

Return Policy for In-Store Purchases or Pickup Orders
We are happy to provide exchanges of in store purchases made in accordance with the terms below. Sorry, there are no refunds.
1) Exchanges are available for purchases made within 7 days. Purchases made during November/December for Christmas gifts will be exchangable until January 7th.
2) Items exchanged must be in unopened, new, saleable condition.
3) You may exchange your purchase for another item in the store or the value of the purchase can be credited to a Gift Card which does not expire.
4) Exchanges without a receipt or gift receipt may be made if we can, at our own descretion, determine that the item was purchased at our store. However, if you are unable to provide us with enough information to find the original transaction in our system and that item had been on sale within the past 6 months it will be exchanged at the sale rate.
