Duke Nukem Forever IN STOCK!

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

I bet on Duke last night, and lost everything. Never bet on Duke.No. That was a lie. Duke Nukem Forever is not in stock, and for many good reasons. First off, we don’t sell video games, and more importantly, that game is never coming out. Ever. The title of this blog was simply a clever scheme to get people to read this thing. Anywho… Let’s get on with the news of what’s going on in this place.

Well. That was one wild convention-filled weekend. On Friday Dave and I make the trek over to the Toronto Sport Card Expo, and it was exactly like the video we had posted of it earlier. Which was amazing and huge, lots of great merchandise there. I saw cards I never thought could exist, and also picked up a Denis Hamel autographed photo, which probably shouldn’t exist.

We also got to go to the Montreal Toy Con, where we sold some anime gear and bonded with our compadrés in the booming Montreal toy industry.

So sports fans, we received a butt-load of Webkinz in this week. First and foremost we got the Whimsy Dragon, (commonly referred to as the Whimsy Dagron) the most mystical of all Webkinz, perhaps second only to the Googles. Unfortunately we only managed to get our hands on 6 of them, but there should be more of them coming in later. As for the other Webkinz that are worth far less experience we also have the Gecko, Samoyed, Lioness, L’il Chicken, and the L’il Black Poodle.

Ame Comi Heroine SeriesAme Comi Heroine Series 4 Pre-Order! Glorious day! The prototype images for Ame-Comi Heroine Series 4 Have been released. Check them out ASAP! We have Wonder Woman and Cheetah (who freaks me out immensely) both ready for pre-order. Also if you haven’t caught a glimpse of series 3, do it now! Donna Troy and Zatanna.

Justice League InternationalJustice League International Series 1 Pre-Order. Thats right, DC Direct has gone retro with this new line. We have it now available for pre-order, and the pictures look like something out of the Brady Bunch. The line starts its debut with Batman, Black Canary, G’Nort, and Ice. They should be available just in time for Christmas ’08.

Bakugan Battle Brawlers
Bakugan Battle Brawlers.
What’s new? Well, Bakugan is still one of our top sellers, and our supplies are running lower and lower. It seems there is some sort of drought going on all over the city, and our suppliers in the United States and Montreal are running empty as well. GET IT WHILE YOU CAN! In the mean time, check out this great video we found, its got clips from the Bakugan TV Show put to our favorite left wing song. We aren’t gay though, or left wing. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Enjoy!

Volchenkov is KO, I mean OK.

Thursday, April 10th, 2008

VolchenkovGlorious day, Anton is going to game 2. We are gona need his shot blocking awesomeness should we travel into a parallel dimension where we can make it to the next series.

We got in some cool stuff today, and restocked some old stuff. I think the best way for me to do this is in point form in no particular order, so here we go!

  • Remember how we got in the awesome Picard in Command Chair figure? Well we just got a special San Diego Comic Con Exclusive Commander Kirk in Chair. As we know all great men sit in chairs, and the only true measure of how great that man is… is the size of his chair.
  • We have re-stocked our Webkinz again, lil’ kinz mice and webkinz tiger snakes are back in for the 3rd or 4th time after selling out in just hours!
  • DC Trinity Series 1 is in stock, its got Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Ra’s al Ghul, at $14.95 each. Buy all four and get them at $47.95, big savings and also cheaper shipping if you are buying long distance!
  • There are some new Transformers in store today, they probably wont last too long. Stealth Bumblebee, Premium Jazz, Stockade, and Premium Barricade. They can be seen here.
  • The new set of Chaotic, Zenith of the Hive, is now in stock in store and also online. The prices for them are the same as the first series of booster packs, $3.95 per pack and $84.95 for a whole box of packs. Check it all out here!
  • The new Winnie the Pooh Pee-a-Pooh series is finally out. It appears they are re-releasing the first series with a couple new animals as well. They call it Series 1 -- Special Edition. They are all priced at $1.77 each, consequently $2 after GST and PST.
  • Oh yeah and our Montreal counterparts put up a shameless Bakugan video on youtube. Check it out below. I cannot help but be mesmerized by the music.

I hope to see you all at our hockey card trading day coming Saturday April 19th from 2-4PM, it looks like I am going to try and bring Mighty Ducks or perhaps even Mighty Ducks 2. Is there a Mighty Ducks 3? If there is, it is probably like Ducks in Space with little Charlie having animatronic arms that can shoot the puck so fast it sends Goldberg back to his oversized crib. I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve a hankering for Emilio Estevez.

Well I think that is all for now! Until next time…

Cheers,

-Gray
