Iron Man Movie Rock’n'Roll Pizza Party May 7th

I don’t know if you have been to our previous movie parties, but this one is going to be like Iron Man 1 x 1000! That’s right… Iron Man 1000.

We are reserving seats, and our goal is to maybe try and fill a whole theatre. The way it works is you register in our store, pay a fee which will include your Iron Man movie ticket, reserved seat, and the pizza party at Toys on Fire before the movie (Pizza and soda, screening of the First Iron Man Movie etc.).

The details are still being worked out but the date should be May 7th, and the fee will be around $16-18 depending on whether or not the movie is in 3D. Check the next newsletter for more details, feel free to call us and leave your name/phone number in hte meantime if you are interested.

Toys on Fire Ottawa’s 5th Anniversary, Starting May 8th, we’re gonna party every day!

Rock and roll all night! Party ev-very day! Does partying include sales? It does at this store. We need to get out more… Well, we’ll be having other events too! Events we haven’t even thought of yet! But yes, this sale will be our 5 week sale! (That’s a week for every year we’ve been open but I’m sure you figured that out.) We’re going to be so tired from partying for 5 weeks straight. Guess we’ll be drinking those mana potions.

Anime North 2010! ROAD TRIP!

Anime North is one of the biggest anime conventions in Canada and we’re going! It’s an enormous events filled with masquerades, dances, contests, movies and one year I think they had pro wrestling too! (Something about Vegeta Vs. Elmo.) If you’re going too you should stop in and say hi!
Game Summit 2010

Games Summit this summer will be their biggest event yet! Things to do will be stuff like giant chess, giant checkers, giant Connect 4, lots of Warhammer, and board games. There’s also going to be Carassonne, Ticket to Ride, and Settlers of Catan tournaments… but get this, the winner of the Catan tournament will be selected to represent Canada and get to go play in the big tournament in Germany! Holy Moly! If you think you have some Catan chops you should sign up!

CanGames 2010

CanGames will no doubt be bigger than ever. My favorite thing about CanGames are the deals. There are usually crazy good deals at CanGames, you can find rare stuff and get board games for ridiculously cheap! We’ll be there too, holding our fort down and no doublty sniffing out some deals of our own!.

Are your walls naked? Cover ‘em up before they get embarrassed! Get some anime posters! We’ve got some Final Fantasy, Naruto, Bleach, Gundam, Trigun, Cowboy Bepop, OnePiece, Bruce Lee, D-Gray Man, X Hunter, Ah! My Goddess, Astroboy, Initial D, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Full Metal Alchemist, and many more. So now you haven’t got an excuse, especially considering they’re $2.95, or 2 for $5! It’s crazy.
