Todd, what’s going on!?  You used to be known for being a month late on all of your action figure sets, and now all the hockey is coming out way sooner then we expected!  I, for one, am extremely happy about this change of pace.  Let’s have a run-down of the NHL 29 set, shall we?

This set includes the following figures:

• Alex Burrows
• Alex Ovechkin
• Patrick Kane (we have the Third Jersey Bronze Variant too!)
• Steven Stamkos (in the really nifty updated jersey for the Lightning)
• Terry Sawchuk (in a Toronto uniform)

There’s apparently a Tim Thomas coming at some point too, but we’re going to have to wait and play some “Where in the World in Tim Thom-iego?”

McFarlane NHL 28 is coming soon! It was supposed to come out in October, but here it is! It’s not even hockey season. They also went back to the short clamshell packaging which isn’t great, but it’s still better than the cardboard, that’s for sure. This set features:

• P.K. Subban
• Roberto Luongo
• Sidney Crosby
• Taylor Hall
• Wendel Clark

And keep your eyes peeled for Roberto Luongo in a Florida Panthers jersey! It’s the first hockey player to ever be in a Panthers jersey! HISTORIC!

Well, his plastic likeness is (probably) coming in McFarlane NHL Series 26! I can already hear all the ladies in Ottawa swooning. The Senators fans will be happy too. Alongside Mr. Fisher will also be Jaroslav Halak (maybe,) Alex Ovechkin, Jimmy Howard, Zach Parise, Ryan Kesler, Dion Phaneuf, and Ryan Miller. Of course this is announcement is all just hear-say so far and the set isn’t due out ’til “December” (*cough* late January 2011 *cough*) but we’re hoping! Mike, put on a goofy smile if you’re hoping too.

I thought so.

We just want to say congrats to the Chicago Blackhawks for their win over the Philadelphia Flyers to win the Stanley Cup. That was a crazy game. We have lots of Chicago McFarlane Hockey figures available, including the brand-spankin’-new Jonathan “I Look Like Marian Hossa” Toews.

Yes, the 7th series of Halo 3 action figures hit our shelves last week. The set it filled with enough good and bad guys to satiate the most hardcore of Halo fans. Check ‘em out!
