Wow, twenty one tournaments already! Viginti unus, as they used to say, and maybe some still do, or maybe just me… Anyhow, I’d like to thank everyone for coming out and having a blast today, and congrats to our winners! We’re nearing the end of our series 2 of the Toys on Fire Beyblade tournaments!

The next tournament is Sunday, August 21st, 1pm-3pm at Toys on Fire in Barrhaven (Outside if the weather is good)

As usual registration is $5 and there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place as well as some door prizes. You are required to have at least one beyblade to play with, but more is usually better!

There are still spots left to register, so grab your best beys and register fast, because it’s gonna be a whole lot of fun. To register or get more information simply send us an email toysonfireott@yahoo.com or give us a call at 613-825-0688 and we can save you a spot.

Score 1st or 2nd place in any of our season 2 tournaments and get invited to the exclusive Tournament of Champions at the end of the summer!

Hello avid Beybladers!

well we’ve now wrapped up 16 (count ‘em) Beyblade tournaments, and boy do you guys love them!  Our next tournament is set for August 7th from 1 pm to 3 pm here at the store, so grab your best Bey and come out to play!  Speaking of play, check out the fun these guys had at tournament 16!  thanks for coming, guys, and congrats to our winners! That’s right, we’re back and ready to go with an all new season of Beyblade tournaments right up to the end of September!  for those of you who don’t know, our first season was a great success, culminating in the Tournament of Champions where we awarded the best Beyblader around, but now is your chance to challenge that title in seven new tournaments, and the dates of those tournaments are:

Each tournament is on a Sunday from 1PM to 3PM, so mark those dates down on the calendar and don’t forget, because it’s gonna be awesome!

Well this past Sunday was the final game in the 2010/11 season of Beyblade Tournaments, so we invited all our champions from each game of the season to compete against each other!  Everyone fought valiantly, and I think everyone there had a great time!  A big congrats goes out to our four finalists:  Elias Sakkay, Christopher Oconnor, Samuel Ryan, and the #1 toys on Fire Beyblade Champion Matthew Castrucci, who now has a plaque in his honour mounted here in the store for everyone to see!  Great Job guys, and thanks for coming in and spending time with us here at Toys on Fire!

Now the fun isn’t all over, oh no.  We’ll be announcing more tournaments in June, so don’t worry, but for now we’re just so busy with all the other stuff going on this month. Stuff like our upcoming Tranformers 3 Movie Party, CanGames, Anime North, and the Ottawa Children’s Festival, not to mention the plans we’re working on for this summers’ anniversary event on July 16th (which will include a Beyblade tournament too, as well as the ever awesome guys from the Star Wars 501st Legion, who just might stop in in time to congratulate the winners!)

It’s May Day, and we just had our Mayday Tournament here at the store, the last tournament before the Tournament of Champions!  Congratulations to Lucas, Elias, Blair, and Andrew, our winners, and a special congratulations to Blair, our final qualifier for the Tournament of Champions!  If you want to play against all our Champions (the first and second place winners of tournaments 1 – 12), there are still spots open, so call, Email, or stop in for more details!
