HALO 3 Series 2!!! HALO 3 Series 2!!! HALO 3 Series 2!!!
I cannot repeat myself enough on this one boys and girls. The Halo 3 Series 2 Action figures came prancing in our door yesterday and are now up for sale. They feature removable helmets, on average 20 points of articulation and removable armor plates. Lets take a look… (feel free to click the pictures for more info and larger images)

So first up is Master Chief, thought to be the last surviving spartan soldier. Except the other spartan soldier action figures just throw that theory right out the window. Looks like he comes with a wicked cool rifle and what appears to be a grenade? This figure is likely going to sell out quite fast, so I might recommend getting one soon before you never see it again.

Next we have the EVA Spartan Soldier, and I believe that stands for Extra Vehicle Activity if you were wondering. This one is really cool, his helmet is like 90% visor, whereas Mister Chief’s helmet is somewhere around 47% visor. He comes equipped with a Covenant Sniper Rifle and a grenada. This particular figure will be likely just as hot as master chief if not hotter. ![]()
Here is the EOD Spartan Soldier, or Explosive Ordinance if you wanna be a jerk about it. His helmet is like 1/20 visor but 2.0 awesome because it has some sort of thermal air filter tusks attached to it. Not to mention he comes with a SHOTGUN and a ‘nade! Some argue for days as to whether it is green or olive. But one conclusion of awesome can be made certain and everyone’s eyes.
Here is the Drone, I don’t know what to say about this one outside of the fact that it looks like a giant fly. Probably not going to be one of the hard to find ones, but I have been fooled before.
Lets talk about the packaging for a moment. Now, just like Spawn Series 34, McFarlane has chosen to put these figures on cardboard-backed clamshells instead of the traditional all-plastic clamshells he has used for the past 8 years. I am not sure why he has gone this route, but I am sure he will continue to confuse and amaze me for years to come. Anyone who has the inside scoop on this packaging change please comment on this post to let everyone know.
Back on track now, here is the CQB Soldier (Close Quarters Battle), and darn tootin’ he comes with a SHOTGUN and a garnade! If I were six inches tall I would not want to be cornered by this guy. He looks like he eats green berets for breakfast. (Much like Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie Commando, oh man that was a good movie. “Let of some steam Bennet.” Hahaha! I’ll love you forever Arnold.)
Brute Stalker, terrifying. This guy is huge, and so heavy that the glue holding the clamshell packaging onto the cardboard backing occasionally gives out. He comes with a helmet to hide his giant ugly monkey-face. Actually his helmet kinda reminds me of Sauron from Lord of the Rings. Eerie none the less.
The Arbiter. Sweet! He has Gold armor and a BEAM SWORD! Wooo! Man that beam sword is shiny I just wanna hold it and whoosh it around a little. This figure will likely be one of the hot ones if not the hottest figure in the series. Every other figure can just go and take a hike. Just kidding. But seriously, this figure is THE ONE. (not like Jet Li, man that was a bad movie. “I am a Multiverse agent.” Hah!)
Finally, the figure you have all been waiting for. Why didn’t they put this guy in series 1? The ODST. (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper) He basically drops out of space, lands in your neighbours yard, and tears the place apart, leaving nothing but the stick the dog used to be tied to. Shocking, I know, but that is just what this guy is about.
Lastly, the Spartan Soldier Scout, or the SSS as I like to call him. He comes with a rifle, too bad he never gets to use it. The color tan is pretty cool though, he could team up with the ODST for an 80s police sitcom and call it Black & Tan.
We have received 10 cases of this series and after the first day 5 are now remaining. I could never fully explain the gravity of the situation. Get them fast people, they sure are nice. Cheers.
